What to Expect
What is a typical service like?
Every service includes a combination of Bible readings, a time of corporate confession and absolution, songs, prayers, as well as a sermon, an offering and Holy Communion (on 1st and 3rd Sundays). A typical service lasts for about an hour.
What about kids?
Children are important to us and welcome in worship! Every service contains a children's message. If needed Palisades Lutheran offers a staffed children's time during worship.

Do I need to participate in the service?
We welcome guests to read and sing along during the service, although how much is completely up to you.

How should I dress?
There is not a dress code at Palisades Lutheran Church. You will see people wearing business, business casual and casual attire. No matter what you choose to wear, the most important thing is that you are ready to worship our Lord.

Will I be able to take Holy Communion?
We welcome all baptized believers who acknowledge the real presence of Christ's body and blood in the Sacrament; who trust in Christ as their Lord and Savior; and who repent and commit to live in a Christ-like way to join us the Communion table.
