What We Believe
We believe, teach, and confess the Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe, teach, and confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and the Gospel as the power of God for the salvation of all who believe in him.
We believe, teach, and confess the Gospel, recorded in Holy Scripture and confessed in the ecumenical creeds and Lutheran confessional writings, as the power of God to create and sustain all believers for
God's mission in the world.

One in Christ
In 1970, two Lutheran churches in Pacific Palisades, originating from different Lutheran branches, merged to become one church.
"There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all." (Ephesians 4:4-6)
The spirit of the combined churches was captured in the motto, “One in the Spirit.” By God's grace, we continue to enjoy that unity in the Holy Spirit today.
