SUNDAY'S DIVINE SERVICE
9:30 A.M. - Worship
Come join us to worship the Lord. "O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You set your glory above the heavens" (Psalm 8:1).
10:40 a.m. - Fellowship
After worship join us for coffee, refreshments and fellowship in the Fireside Room.
11:00 a.m. - Bible Study
Please join members and Pastor Lee for Bible Study.

Participate in Worship
What is a typical service like?
Every service includes a combination of Bible readings, a time of corporate confession and absolution, songs, prayers, as well as a message based on the Bible readings, an offering and Holy Communion (on 1st and 3rd Sundays). A typical service lasts for about an hour.
What about kids?
Children are important to us and enjoyed in worship! Every service contains a children's message. If needed Palisades Lutheran offers a staffed children's time during worship.
Do I need to participate in the service?
We welcome guests to read and sing along during the service, although how much is completely up to you.
How should I dress?
There is not a dress code at Palisades Lutheran Church. You will see people wearing business, business casual and casual attire. No matter what you choose to wear, the most important thing is that you are ready to worship our Lord.
Will I be able to take Holy Communion?
We welcome all baptized believers who acknowledge the real presence of Christ's body and blood in the Sacrament; who trust in Christ as their Lord and Savior; and who repent and commit to live in a Christ-like way to join us the Communion table.

The Sacrament of Holy Baptism
We invite everyone to be baptized. Please call Pastor Lee if you would like to be baptized. The Word of God teaches that we are all conceived and born sinful and are in need of God's grace and forgiveness offered in Baptism.
God invites people of all ages and nations to be baptized. Mathew writes, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matthew 28:18-19). And St. Mark writes, "They brought young children to [Jesus] that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them. But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, 'Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.' And He took them up in His arms, put His hands on them, and blessed them." (Mark 10:13-16)
The Sacrament of Holy Communion
The Lutheran Church confesses that the Lord's Supper is the true body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, under the bread and wine, given to all Christians to eat and to drink. We believe Holy Communion offers the forgiveness of sins, strengthening of faith, and assurance of salvation, for Jesus declares: "This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.'" (cf. Matt. 26:26-28; see also Mark 14:22 - 25, Luke 22:14-20; I Cor. 11:17-29).
