Pastor Robertson grew up in Corona, CA, and became a member of the LCMS through adult confirmation at Shepherd of Peace Lutheran Church, Irvine, CA, in 1983. He has spent extensive time involved in missions, having lived in Germany (almost three years), in Indonesia (almost four years), and having made many mission trips to Mexico, a trip to Guatemala, and trips to other countries. He has done pastoral internships in inner city Detroit (summer, 1989) and in S. Central Los Angeles (’90 – ’91) and has worked in prison ministry. In 2005 Pastor Robertson was certified for pastoral ministry in the LCMS. From 2008-2016 his primary work has been as the Certified Administrator, owner, and operator of Mountain View Terrace, a state licensed “six-bed” Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) in Redlands, CA. Pastor Robertson closed his RCFE in 2016 and soon thereafter began attending Mt. Calvary. Robertson quickly fell in love with the Mt. Calvary congregation and Pastor Buecheler soon began putting him to work. Robertson is a chaplain at Mountains Community Hospital where he does weekly services, is the visitation pastor to hospitalized congregation members, teaches Growth Group classes at Mt. Calvary, and fills the pulpit for Pastor Buecheler when his busy schedule takes him out of town.
